Amid cancellations, postponements and shutdowns, there will still be a high school game played on Friday—Clint vs. Riverside with the 4A district championship at stake.
Rain fell throughout the evening, puddles of water accumulated on the field, the temperature dropped into the 60's, and Del Valle defeated Riverside in a key District 2-4A battle at Riverfront Stadium. The Rangers were never really in the contest, turning the ball over 6 times.
Miners head men's basketball coach Tim Floyd talks about UTEP's first win of the season over Cal-Riverside. The Miners had their issues throughout the game, but shot well both early and late in the second half as lanky freshman Hooper Vint knocked down two big three-pointers to seal the victory.

Traditional powers Coronado and Canutillo are struggling to find offense.
