GRETNA, La. (AP) — Freshman LSU defensive back Ricky Jefferson has pleaded guilty to a misdemeanor and has been sentenced to two years' probation in connection with his arrest along a Mardi Gras parade route in Metairie last February.

Beware of what you read on the internet. A story is quickly making its rounds on social media about New Orleans Saints Quarterback Drew Brees breaking both legs in a car wreck. The story claims the information was confirmed by the Louisiana State Police, but it’s simply not true. Drew took to his official Twitter account to clear up any concern.
