One of the consistent issues for the UTEP men's basketball program in the past decade has been their inconsistent play in Conference USA.

Less than 24 hours after the Miners suffered a meltdown in the final minutes, losing 74-66 (OT) in their C-USA opener, the team found redemption by dominating the Golden Eagles, 77-62, on Saturday and splitting the series.

As the 2020 season is now behind us, the Conference USA All-Conference list came out on Monday, with members of the UTEP football team recognized in various categories.

Amid 16 different lead changes, the UTEP men's basketball team (2-0) outlasted Sul Ross State (Div. III) 84-65 on Saturday night at the Haskins Center.

UTEP postponed its original game against Arizona Christian with hopes to reschedule it at a later date. The Miners will now host Sul Ross State on Saturday.
