On Thursday afternoon, former UTEP Senior Associate Athletic Director Brian Wickstrom appeared in studio as a guest on Sportstalk. Wickstrom had just been named Athletic Director at the University of California-Riverside. During the interview, Wickstrom was very candid when discussing the UTEP Men's basketball program.

On Thursday, veteran hockey analyst Joe Micheletti, in Vancouver and part of the NHL International Television broadcast team, joined Sportstalk to discuss hockey's Stanley Cup Finals.

Last Friday, Toronto Blue Jays Play-By-Play voice Buck Martinez joined Sportstalk to talk baseball. Among the topics discussed, Martinez weighed in on the controversial hit by Florida's Scott Cousins to San Francisco star catcher Buster Posey.

On Monday, professional baseball veteran Marc Bombard joined Sportstalk to reminisce on his former baseball roommate (Randy Savage), playing for the Cohen brothers at UTEP, and his nearly 40 years in professional baseball.
