Yesterday we told you that ‘Halo 4′ would be kicking down your door Nov. 6, and now we’re telling you that it’s bringing some friends along — late-night talk show host Conan O’Brien and ever-present sidekick Andy Richter. The pairing of pasty, non-threatening comedians and a hardcore, distant future-set fragfest doesn’t quite calculate, but whatever.

Now that 343 Industries has taken over the Halo series from Bungie, they’re hard at work on the fourth installment of the best-selling series.

Was there any question on the popularity of the Halo series? Bungie, makers of the Halo franchise, just released stats from the series that claims that over 20 billion Halo games have been played over 85 million days. So says this infographic that Bungie released to celebrate their achievements with the game and to hand over the series that made the game developers famous.

Eric Smith was prepared to offer his girlfriend a very special ring fit with a stone of her favorite color – canary yellow. It would symbolize his dedication to her and the promise that he wasn’t going anywhere. And then she dropped the bomb.
