Why do I love the playoffs?  The answer is simple, if you get in despite your performance during the regular season, there is a chance to win a championship.  Take the 2011 St. Louis Cardinals as a prime example.  No one in  their right mind saw this team winning it all, especially with the numerous issues they had throughout the season.
