Frank Keton, who starred on the basketball court at Coronado in the early 1970s and played one season for the UTEP Miners, died Sunday at the age of 65.

Coronado hosted Americas at Quarles Thunderbird Stadium in a 1-5A showdown on Friday night.  The T-Birds were underdogs in the game because Americas was coming off of a huge win against Lubbock Monterey.
