Jim Senter, who has spent the last three years as Director of Intercollegiate Athletics at The Citadel, was named UTEP's new Director of Athletics this morning.

This week, UTEP will be conducting on-campus interviews with their three finalists for the Director of Athletics opening.

Former UTEP head coach Mike Price came out of retirement this week to do one last favor for AD Bob Stull, take his old job back for seven final football games.

Despite recruiting El Paso athletes, strong academic performance, and disciplined approach, Sean Kugler's lack of wins in recent seasons doomed him at UTEP.

Since Bob Stull announced his retirement exactly three weeks ago today as UTEP's Director of Athletics, the rumor mill has been filled with names for his potential replacement.

He created the Miner Athletic Center, the Larry K. Durham Center, Helen of Troy softball complex and Foster-Stevens Center. These facilities have help transform the university in to the place that it has become today, and were incredible additions to the unique campus.
