NFL Eliminates Chop Block and Makes Other Rules Changes

The NFL competition committee has made seven rules changes for the 2016 season. They include making all chop blocks illegal and permanently moved the line of the scrimmage on extra points to the 15 yard line. Until today the majority of chop blocks were already illegal but last season two players aligned next to each other on the line of scrimmage were still allowed to use the technique.
