Seven Year Old Cancer Patient, Jack Hoffman, Scores a Touchdown at Nebraska’s Spring Game [Video]

Football is serious business at the University of Nebraska.  The Cornhuskers have a proud tradition, and Bo Pelini is looking to bring a title to Lincoln for the first time since 1997.

Seven year old Jack Hoffman has never seen his beloved Huskers hoist the crystal ball at the end of the season, but that hasn't deterred his devotion to his favorite team.  Hoffman has also been battling brain cancer.  Last season, Hoffman formed a bond with then senior running back Rex Burkhead.  Hoffman made such an impact on the team that they wanted to do something special for him at this year's spring game.

Donning the same number 22 that Rex Burkhead wore for four seasons in Lincoln, Hoffman lined up in the backfield on a fourth and one play.  What happened next was the stuff of legends.
