Get ready for one of El Paso’s most cherished summer traditions as Viva! El Paso returns for its 46th season.
The outdoor event which will be set against the stunning backdrop of the Franklin Mountains, will run for 12 shows over six weekends, starting July 1 and continuing every Friday and Saturday night through August 6th.
Viva! El Paso brings the region’s rich 400-year history to life through mesmerizing song and dance.
Viva! El Paso will be held at the beautiful McKelligon Canyon Amphitheatre and if you have never been let me tell you, it’s a must-see event for every El Pasoan not only because of the beautiful scenery but because of the history that you’ll learnt through these awesome performances.
This year, the show features a compelling book by Marty Martin, accompanied by the vibrant music of Cody Ritchey and Jim Ward. Audience favorites such as the Deer Dance, Folklorico, Flamenco, and regional dances from Vera Cruz and Jalisco are sure to enchant both new and returning visitors.
