The highly-anticipated ‘Beyond Van Gogh’ traveling exhibit will be here in December.

El Paso art fans can immerse themselves in the famous works of the famous painter, and we have the dates and ticket details.

There’s a lot of buzz surrounding this exhibit, and if its popularity in the other major cities it has made a stop in is any indication tickets will be snapped up, especially since it gets here during the holiday season. You’ll want to get your tickets to Van Gogh before they’re Van Gone.

First, what it’s not is an art museum-type showing of his priceless paintings hanging on walls, so if that’s what you were expecting than Beyond Van Gogh might be a no Gogh for you.

What it is are 3-D digital projections of his most recognizable work, like “Starry Night” and “Sunflowers,” set to music.

According to the news release, space inside the El Paso County Coliseum will be divided into three areas: The Education Room, Waterfall Room, and Immersive Experience Room. Each “segues fluidly” into the other.

Animated, swirling projections of “Van Gogh’s spectacular paintings” will cover the walls of each area giving you the feeling that you’re fully immersed and enveloped in his art while classical and contemporary music fills the room.

When

“Beyond Van Gogh” will make its El Paso debut on December 16, 2022. Its limited engagement runs through January 20, 2023.
