Spring on the Farm

The first-ever "Spring Fling" at La Union Maze will happen over two consecutive Saturdays and Sundays; April 1-2 and April 8-9. The 9th is Easter Sunday.

According to the farm's social media, there will be numerous things for the kids to do such as slides, jumping pillows, cow train rides, and pedal carts. Easter weekend, April 8-9, age-specific egg hunts and photo opportunities with the Easter Bunny get added to the mix.

On both weekends they'll have a small Oat Maze open. That's a twisting, turning path cut into their oat field. There won’t be a corn maze to get lost in, though, or pumpkin picking because those are reserved for the fall.

Even without the corn maze it sounds like Spring Fling at La Union Maze is going to be an egg-citing day for the kids. Okay, well, I'm out of egg puns.

You might say I've eggs-austed them all. Ha! Alright, now I'm done.

10 Things You Didn't Know Come From Texas

Bet You Didn't Know: 10 Bizarre Texas Laws Still on the Books

Many states still have strange laws on the books that aren’t enforced or taken seriously anymore, and Texas is no exception.

Most of these laws are just funny now, but at one time, there was a valid (or at least somewhat valid) reason for them to exist.

Texas has plenty of strange rules and regulations that you could technically be prosecuted for if you violate them, since they've never been amended. Some of these are only for specific cities and not state-wide, but all of them are pretty odd!

Let's take a look at 10 of the weirdest ones in the Lone Star State.
