Vuture Food, a California-based vegan restaurant, is hitting the road and returning to El Paso this weekend with a food truck full of deep-fried vegan junk food.

Wait, vegan food can also be unhealthy?

I'm not into the vegan thing, but deep-fried vegan is a game changer for me!

Not Your Stereotypical Vegan

For the last few years, the Vuture food truck has been making El Paso a regular stop as it travels across the country turning people on to its unconventional vegan take on classic bar-type food.

From loaded fries to chili cheese mac 'n cheese to the popular Nashville hot "chicken" sandwich topped with coleslaw, Nashville sauce, and their own plant-based buffalo ranch, their style of vegan doesn't look or sound like your stereotypical vegan food.

The food truck announced on its website that they’ve locked in Saturday, March 25, for a pop-up date at Old Sheepdog Brewery. The craft beer hot spot is located in Segundo Barrio at 3900 Rosa Ave.

The traveling food truck will be there from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. Or until they run out, whichever comes first.

They do tend to sell out more often than not, so if you want in on the plant-based junk food plan accordingly.
