Sunland Park Dispensary Bringing Loads Of Green To New Mexico
Sunland Park New Mexico dispensaries have the state going green ... literally and figuratively ... with more record setting marijuana sales.
Sunland Park dispensary sales are growing like, well, weeds. They ranked 5th across the state in pot sales their very first year. Thanks mostly to Texas. Your welcome NM, meanwhile, Governor Abbott, are you seeing this?? Asking for a friend ...
They're killing it over there and with a new entertainment venue coming soon, I'm sure those numbers are going to "grow" as fast as the mota does .. maybe faster.
For marijuana sales this summer alone, (May, June, July), Sunland Park moved up to 2nd place statewide selling over $13 mill in ganja with Las Cruces in 3rd at just over $9 mill.
Sales in Albuquerque topped $15.7 million in May, $14.7 million in June and $15.1 million in July;
Sales in Sunland Park passed $4.6 million in May, $4.4 million in June and $4.6 million in July;
Las Cruces had the third spot in May and June with over $3.2 million and $3 million, respectively, but was bested by Santa Fe, which saw $3.07 million in July compared to Las Cruces's $3.02 million. - EPTimes
Albuquerque remains the big dog in the 505 with $45.5 million greenbacks generated by "green" sales. Seriously, I'm wondering who is selling more weed in the Borderland these days ... Sunland Park or the Cartels?
Cannabis "tourists" from Texas are fueling a great deal of NM's success and it's not just Sunland Park that's raking in Texas dollars this summer.
- Alamogordo sold a little over $3 million
- Chaparral netted almost $3 million.
- Ruidoso brought in $2.09 million.
- Portales came in at $1.2 million. - EPTimes
I'm sure a lot of that was "made in Texas" and, if our little chunk of Texas is helping to drive these kinds of numbers, imagine what ALL of the 2nd biggest state in the union could generate?
C'mon Gov. Abbott ... seal your place in history as not only the coolest Governor in Texas history but also the biggest moneymaker. Make it rain Guv!
