We already know there have been some insane crime stories to come out of Texas, but this one is crazy, mainly on how it ENDED. After a long standoff, Texas police officers managed to take down a suspect held up at a motel and they had some help thanks to a robot.

This man in Lubbock got taken down in the most incredible fashion by a SWAT team & their faithful robot buddy.

It was earlier this week on September 18th that a 39 year old suspect, Felix Delarosa, was held up at a Days Inn motel in Lubbock, Texas. He managed to fire a few shots at officers before a police sniper was able to shoot at him to take him down. Felix lived and was arrested by SWAT.

But the thing that people are taking about were the events that held up to his arrest. SWAT sent out a robot to try to talk to Felix who was held up in a motel room. Felix refused and fired at the robot, the robot fired back with tear gas, Felix then left the room and the robot fought back.

Yes this video went viral and people's reactions online were pretty savage to Felix's arrest, as one would expect.

  • "Damn he got taken down by a temu terminator" - maddog_mandal
  • "That robot got two points for the takedown and four points for mount." - daves_bjj
  • "I am not getting apprehend by wall-e" - blackberr5533
  • "Homie really threw a blanket over RoboCop" - ghostyboyi
  • "The guy controlling the robot when the robot started throwing hands at the end" - jjpioo

So yeah the Internet had a field day roasting this guy & praising how awesome the police robot was.

Bottom line of the story? Don't mess with police because they have tools that can easily take you down if you fight them.
