You never know what you're gonna see at a concert, especially in El Paso, Texas. You'll see some people occasionally perform on stage during shows, and it happened over the weekend during the Saliva concert at Speaking Rock Entertainment Center. One El Paso man dressed up as Jesus and got the story of a lifetime.

Who was this El Paso "Jesus" that sung with Saliva on stage?

On Saturday, October 19th, Saliva played for a pretty huge crown in El Paso

As the band was about to finish their set, they noticed our friend dressed in a Jesus costume at a show. And they brought him on stage to sing the final song of the night, "Click Click Boom".

Not only do we have photographic evidence of this happening, but video evidence too, as these TikToks show the whole event happening.

So who was this "Jesus" that appeared at the Saliva show? Well his name is Rick Resendez, aka...WhataJesus.

Afterwards, according to Rick's friend, Francisco, people were hoping to get photos of Ricky & his costume after the show. He even got to take a few photos with the band too (even got the setlist as a souvenir!). Btw if you want to see the FULL footage of "Jesus" on stage, you can see the whole video on YouTube here.

This wasn't the first time something went viral at Speaking Rock this year; Drowning Pool recorded a music video when they came here back in September & Escape the Fate went viral with their Selena tribute.

Bottom line...keep your phone handy because you never know when you'll capture something truly wild & amazing in front of you.
