HELP: 18 Young Girls Have Been Missing Since April in Arizona
Your help is needed -- have you seen any of these young girls who have gone missing in Arizona??
It's heartbreaking to know that children go missing almost every day in Arizona. That's why, even though a difficult topic, writing about these missing kids is important. While I may not be able to do much, I can help spread the word and maybe even help bring a child back home.
From April of 2024 to today, a total of 18 young girls have gone missing in Arizona. Their ages range from 4 years old to 17.
It's tragic to think of what each of these girls and their families are going through. The circumstances of a child's disappearance are never fully known. There are situations where the child may have run away; they were kidnapped; taken by a parent during visitation; or any other number of things.
How can you find information on children who have gone missing?
The National Center of Missing and Exploited Children serves as a nationwide resource center for missing and exploited children. With their database, you can find photos and information on missing children under 18 years old, not only from Arizona, but across America.
Families can report their child missing here, and the public can provide any tips they may have on those who are missing or of suspected exploitation.
Why are these kids missing
There are no specifics as to why these girls are missing. The National Center of Missing and Exploited Children says that a majority of the time missing children are runaways, or have been abducted by family.
No matter the reason behind their disappearance, these girls have people hoping and praying they will come home. What's important is that these kids are found and brought back safely.
Please take some time to look through the photos below to see if you recognize any of these missing girls. If you have any tips you think could help, call the listed law enforcement agency or 800-843-5678 (800-THE-LOST).
