El Paso Zoo Society Unveils Exciting New Summer Camp Journey
The El Paso Zoo Society is introducing a brand new summer camp experience that will certainly promise a summer filled with adventure!
Journey into the wild as the El Paso Zoo Society's Conservation Guardians Summer Camp begins June 3rd and is available for children ages 7 to 12! Joining the club will include:
- 6 hours of camp Monday – Friday
- Unique field trip experiences to outdoor locations throughout the city
- Conservation Guardians t-shirt
- Conservation Guardians hat
- Snacks
- Journal
- Commemorative printed photo
- Certificate of completion
- Graduation Pizza Party Celebration Friday
Each week, campers will learn about conservation, sustainability and animals.
Campers will meet at a home base location where parents will drop off/ pick up and will also serve as classroom time. From there, the El Paso Zoo Society will provide transportation field trip locations throughout the city that include trips to the Licon Dairy to learn about animals and enjoy the petting zoo.
As well as a trip to the Bodega Loya Farm where campers will learn about planting and growing food here in the desert.
Camp starts at $199; you can choose to go all nine weeks or you can choose just one week to join in on the fun. You can find out more information- as well as how to sign your camper up- here.
