Here are some more places that are known to be haunted in El Paso
There are many places in Downtown El Paso that are extremely haunted; the one that WE think of is the DeSoto Hotel. Sadly a fire burnt the hotel in 2022 and it remains closed. However the sign still stands as a reminder of the memories that remain inside the DeSoto.
Another place is the former La Hacienda Restaurant that used to be on Paisano. It became a restaurant in 1940 after it transformed from being a brothel (according to legend). Today La Hacienda remains closed but various paranormal groups, like Lost El Paso Paranormal, has shared their experiences at La Hacienda.
Other haunted spots include:
- Loretto Academy has also been rumored to be haunted by a ghost nun in the school's tower
- People have claimed to spot ghostly figures at the Magoffin Homestead
- And of course we can't forget about El Paso's OTHER haunted fire station, Fire Station #9
Whether you're a believer of ghosts or not, the tales themselves are spooky & enticing enough to want to explore these places. But be mindful of the spirits that might be lurking...
And not's considering the mountains of caves around El Paso. There have been videos of possible ghosts in our mountains too...
