Dallas Cowboys linebacker Micah Parsons has fallen in love with El Paso and he's coming back to see us soon.

Micah Parsons was in El Paso last summer as part of a celebrity softball game arranged by Minnesota Vikings running back ... and proud El Pasoan ... Aaron Jones. Aaron Jones also played with the Green Bay Packers and is a former UTEP Miner.

Micah apparently fell in love with El Chuco and decided he wanted to do his own thing here and set up a football camp for El Paso kids.

He has arranged the Lions Den football camp to be held at El Paso High School on June 17th from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. (Kinda funny that the "lions" den is taking place at the home of the El Paso Tigers.)

The camp will be open to ages 6 to 16 with a cost of $199 plus fees. Parsons along with new and experienced football players will incorporate activities such as lectures, fundamental skill stations, contests, and awards.

Those who plan to participate are advised to wear athletic gear such as warm weather attire, cleats, and sneakers. - KVIA

According to the El Paso Times, individual and team awards will be given out in each age group and all the "campers" will get a photo with Micah, a limited edition Lion's Den football camp t - shirt and a few other items from sponsors.

Micah and the Cowboys kick off their regular season September 8th in Cleveland while Aaron and the Vikings get going September 8th in New York.
