We've talked about how New Mexico has what most people would consider to be one of the most haunted roads in America. However thanks to a viral video that was uploaded onto TikTok this month, there might be another contender for scariest road in New Mexico.

This video shows what looks to be a ghost in Arenas Valley, New Mexico

The town of Arenas Valley, New Mexico only has a population of 1,000 that's just west of Santa Clara. But this year, the town has been talked about quite a bit thanks to this viral TikTok video that was uploaded in early October.

This video that was uploaded by a user named "naythanbenavides15" is very short. This footage was captured by the user's wife while she was driving in Arena's Valley. This video is only about 8 seconds long but it shows what looks to be a ghostly figure walking across the highway.

It's hard to pinpoint exactly WHERE in Arenas Valley this stretch of highway is located, but according to someone's who driven on this highway before (our engineer), he was able to give an idea on where he thinks this was taken. He said this might have been on the Old Highway 180.

This TikTok user is not the only one who has seen stuff on this highway in New Mexico either; another user even said that her dad, back in the 90s, also spotted what he thought was someone walking across the road so he wouldn't hit her.

This video was even featured in a BizarreBub video earlier this month, which made people even more aware of this scary video.

Ghost figure or not, there definitely seems to be something extra that's wandering around on the highways in New Mexico. So keep you eyes open on the road and be extra careful driving at night.
