Texas is Home to 2 of the Last Adult Drive in Theaters

Remember in the early days of the pandemic when drive-in theaters made a huge return and everyone was going to them?

All in all, Texas has eighteen drive in theaters- and two of them are X-rated theaters!

That's right, porn drive-in theaters are certainly a thing, and two of them (and probably the only two in the entire country) are here in the Lone Star state.

Now, if you are an El Pasoan, then you know that here in the 915, we have the Fiesta Drive-In. I have to admit that up until a couple of years ago, I never knew the Fiesta Drive-In even existed! I had always heard the jokes but never fully understood them.

I'm not here to knock anyone's kink, or to judge, but I couldn't believe that here in TEXAS- a state where I can't even buy liquor on a Sunday- was totally cool with showing porn on a BIG SCREEN in the open! But I digress.

Well, according to this list of drive-in theaters in Texas, Tyler, TX. is also home to an adult drive-in! The one in Tyler is named Apache Drive-In, located at 13180 State Highway 31 E (just in case you were wondering).

It looks like at the Apache theater, price of admission is $13 for an individual and $20 for a couple- and while they haven't updated their Facebook page in a while but it does look like it's still in business.

As for the Fiesta Drive-In, they also haven't really updated their Facebook page, but I'm pretty sure it's still operating- in fact, we held an event there a while back! And I now understand all the jokes.
