Kick off your fall calendar with something that makes you truly proud to be a Texan.

Thanks to intownsuites.com and their list of things to do in Texas in the fall, you can plan out your entire next few months with activities you may have never experienced before (I bet you've never been to a Wurstfest before).

Beginning of Fall

The fall season begins on September 22nd and transitions to winter on December 21st this year. You know what that means? Four months of pumpkin spice flavored everything and four months of sad pumpkins slowly dying after you forgot to throw it out from the front porch.

One thing that you can't forget about is the list of fun activities to do as the leaves change color and the temperatures fall. Don't worry, I've got it all planned for you. Here are some of my favorites that are fun for the whole family on a brisk Texas fall day.

Fall means football! Not only do you have 32 NFL teams to pick from, you can also keep it local and watch your favorite college team score the points and win the game (biiig football fan here).

What's better than the riding on gravity-defying roller coasters and throwing sharp things at balloons for a free button? The food! In fact, this year is unveiling a brand new selection of whacky fair foods for you to enjoy at the Texas State Fair.

Haunted Houses

Need I explain myself? What's better than getting a good spook with some friends or family? My favorite is bringing the manly man to a haunted house and seeing him try to hide his flinching after a headless witch runs directly at him... good times.

Happy fall, ya'll!
