El Paso Playhouse Presents ‘The Best Christmas Pageant Ever’ – El Paso’s longest running Community Theater presents the holiday favorite ‘The Best Christmas Pageant Ever’. The story revolves around the Herdmans, who bully their way into the main roles in a church play and come to realize the true meaning of the holiday, while also giving the gift of a new perspective on the Christmas story to regular church goers. 8 p.m. at the El Paso Playhouse, 2501 Montana. Farmer’s Market at Ardovino’s Desert Crossing – The “producers only” market features area farmers, backyard gardeners and artisans selling organic and pesticide-free vegetables, locally-made goat cheeses, natural free range chickens and eggs, native plants for home and yard, fresh-baked breads and salsas. 7:30 a.m. to noon. Freedom Crossing Family Play Date – The fun begins at 10 a.m. with a showing of “How the Grinch Stole Christmas” at the Grand Theatre. FREE for the first 228 guests. Beginning at 11:00 a.m. FREE activities will be available on the promenade by the play area, including holiday photo booth, magic show, an appearance by Mrs. Clause, and more. More Details

Santa at the Zoo - Santa is helping the El Paso Zoo celebrate Christmas, and he’s bringing the Grinch along. Visit with Santa and his buddy and take a photo with one or both for $6 each.
