
Chapin Looks to Tame the Bears for Homecoming 2011

Homecoming has arrived not only for the students but for the Chain husky football team. Chapin football is going into the game 3-2 (2-0) district. Bowie is going into the game 2-2 (0-2) district. Chapin football is coming off a a win which makes the winning streak to 3.
Bowie lost last week in there district opener against Jefferson. Chapin is 9-0 all time against the bears. The last meeting between the teams resulted in a Chapin husky 41-27 win last season.
“We're doing good in practice but there is a bit of a distraction from the homecoming week festivities.” wide receiver Raymon Sottak said.
Playing good hard football is a thing of nature for the Chapin football.
“We need to stay consistent and not get distracted by homecoming week we’re doing a good job so far.” quarterback Seth Gonzales said.
Chapin is a very good team overall the key thing is to keep up the consistency in practice throughout the week.
“Were a very stong team overall we need to focus and work hard in practice.” kicker J.J Nunez said.
Bowie is going to challenge Chapin through their good run game.
“Stopping Bowie’s run game is going to be key to a Chapin husky win.” d-lineman Geoffery Dewees
Chapin football will look to tame the bears this Friday night at Irivin High School kickoff at 7:00 p.m.
