WWE Royal Rumble Results

Another WWE PPV is in the books. Here are the results for the Royal Rumble.

Intercontinental Title Match: Kevin Owens vs Dean Ambrose (champion) in a last man standing match:
--Dean Ambrose retains the title after he pushes Owens from the top rope and he goes through two tables.

WWE Tag Team Title Match: The Usos vs The New Day (champions)
--The New Day retains the titles after Big E hits his Big Ending finisher on Jay Uso.

United States Title Match: Kalisto vs Alberto Del Rio (champion):
--Kalisto wins the title via pinfall after Del Rio missed a double foot stomp and Kalisto hits the Salida del Sol on Del Rio.

WWE Divas Title Match: Becky Lynch vs Charlotte (champion)

--Charlotte retained her title after her father Rick Flair threw his jacket at Lynch, then Charlotte speared her and covered her for he three count.  After the match, Sasha Banks made her return and attached Charlotte.

Royal Rumble Match:

Triple H was the 30th entrant in the match and won the WWE Title after he eliminated Dean Ambrose. He also eliminated Roman Reigns from the match as well.

Some of the highlights of the match include:

A.J. Styles made his WWE debut at #4 and was by far the most popular wrestler in the match.

WWE did a good job of putting over the Wyatt Family and Brock Lesnar.

Vince McMahon and the League of Nations attacked Reigns at the 20 minute mark of the match. Reigns would return towards the end of the match. The crowd booed Reigns every chance they got and cheered when Triple H eliminated him.

With the victory, Triple  H becomes a 14 time WWE Champion.
