World Record Broken For Highest Ever Basketball Shot

Australian Derek Herron wanted to make history. The 28-year old Australian is part of a group of people known as How Ridiculous, who describe themselves as "a full-time world record breaking group of friends passionate about pushing the limits and bringing fans along for the ride." Herron decided to try and break the Guinness Book of World Records for the highest basketball shot ever made.

He traveled to Switzerland and to the top of Mauvoisin Dam. As luck would have it, third time's a charm. Watch the video and witness for yourself how Herron's shot from nearly 594 feet hits nothing but net. How Ridiculous!
