WP: Wisler (4-4)

LP: Jokisch (5-7)

S: Ambriz (6)

Time: 2:51

Attn: 5,005

The El Paso Chihuahuas fell behind 2-0 early Tuesday but scored eight unanswered runs at one point in their 8-5 victory over the Iowa Cubs at Principal Park in Des Moines. Jonathan Galvez put El Paso ahead to stay with a three-run home run in the fourth inning, a long homer that traveled out of the stadium in left field.

Chihuahuas starter Matt Wisler matched his longest start of the season, pitching seven innings and allowing only two runs. Cubs prospect Javy Baez hit a three-run homer in the bottom of the eighth to get Iowa within three, but Hector Ambriz later induced a game-ending double play to end the bottom of the ninth with the tying run at the plate.

Jeff Francoeur went 3-for-5 with an RBI double in the win. The game was delayed by 26 minutes because of team travel difficulties. The management of El Paso, Iowa and the Pacific Coast League arranged a charter flight from El Paso to Des Moines, ensuring the game would be played after mechanical difficulties cancelled the Chihuahuas originally scheduled flight.

Jonathan Galvez gave the Chihuahuas the lead with this 3-Run blast in the fourth.

The game was put out of reach when Brooks Conrad hit this 2-Run double in the seventh.
