With the new year just around the corner, there are plenty of potential quality fights for 2014. Who are you anxious to see or which match-ups would you like to take place?

Of course, the most anticipated fight announcement for 2014 is who will be next  to step in the ring with the undefeated, top p4p fighter, Floyd Mayweather Jr.

As of now nothing official, but it looks like Amir Kahn (28-3, 20 KO)  may be the next guy to test the incredible skills of Mayweather.

Now there are still those who believe that despite having different promoters, the Maywather-Pacquaio fight is coming in 2014. As much as I would love to see that like everyone else, I don't believe 2014 will be the year.

WBO Featherweight champ Mikey Garcia will defend his title Jan. 25th, against top contender Juan Carlos Burgos. Garcia Is one of those fighters that looks to have a bright future, if he continues delivering the fans with exciting wins and brutal finishes.

A few fighters who I think will shine this year include, Keith Thurman, Ruslan Provodnikov, Marcos Maidana, Leo Santa Cruz, Abner Mares, Mikey Garcia, Danny Garcia, and Peter Quillin.

There is no doubt that 2014 is going to be an exciting year for boxing. With so many quality fighters (especially in the welterweights), the sky is the limit for those "Big Fights."
