Dennis Rodman stole the show Friday night with an unexpectedly emotional speech upon his induction to the NBA’s Hall of Fame.

His touching words were a bit of a surprise for someone who was so rough and tumble in his playing days. In his speech, Rodman — also known as the Worm — opened up, speaking about his troubled family relationships. He was also critical of himself, saying, “I haven’t been a great father. I haven’t been a great husband. I can’t lie.”

Rodman joined nine other inductees, including former players Chris Mullin and Artis Gilmore, and coach Tex Winter.

Since Rodman and Winter were two of the centerpieces of the Bulls’ dynasty, noted Bulls’ alumni like Phil Jackson and Scottie Pippen were on hand to cheer on the former rebounding machine.
