After getting demolished 50-7 by TCU last week, nobody thought that Texas would play a competitive game against the Oklahoma Sooners. Well, not only did the Longhorns compete, they dominated the 10th ranked Sooners and beat them 24-17.

The Longhorns rushed for 313 yards and their defense had six sacks on Sooners quarterback Baker Mayfield. If people think that Texas hit rock bottom last week, maybe this is what can turn around their season.

This is the first signature win for Charlie Strong as the head coach of the Longhorns. As you'd expect he was very excited after the win. His players were excited for him also as they picked him up on their shoulders and Strong got to crowd surf on his players.

This is the perfect example of the high and lows of coaching in college football.
