A professional surfer named Mick Fanning was attacked by a shark on live TV at a tournament in South Africa on Sunday.  The camera was on him while he was waiting for a wave, and you could see the shark's fin come out of the water.  Then there was a lot of splashing, and it looked like it pulled him under.  But he punched it in the back and it swam off.  The shark didn't bite him because it got caught on the rope that was attached to his board and snapped it.  And as you'd expect, tournament officials decided to cancel the rest of the tournament.
