Any baseball fan who has grown up listening to Los Angeles Dodgers baseball on radio and television knows the name Vin Scully. He has been a part of Dodgers baseball since 1949, when the team was still playing in Brooklyn. Now, 86 years old, Scully has spent the last 65 years broadcasting games for the only baseball organization he has ever worked for, and will make it a 66th season in 2015. The Dodgers produced a great video piece to make the big announcement and played it on the scoreboard at Dodger Stadium last night.
