The Miner doubles team won the regional title in October. Now, they're after the National title.

UTEP Miners Vivienne Kulicke and Milou Pietersz have built, in just a few months, what most doubles teams take years to develop. A "chemistry" that's taking them to the nationals in New York, one of only 20 teams across the country making that journey! According to the El Paso Times:

UTEP's newest doubles team has taken that connection and won the Intercollegiate Tennis Association Regional title and that will send them to the Billie Jean King National Tennis Center in New York this week for the USTA/ITA National Indoor Championships. It is a journey no UTEP team has ever before made.

While Miner football (and soon basketball) hold our attention, let's remember to support these two dynamic players as they take their game where no UTEP team has gone before!
