The UTEP Women's basketball team rallied from a 15 point deficit to knock off Charlotte 67-58.  The come from behind win ties the fifth-largest in program history.  UTEP, who improved to 11-5, 2-1 C-USA, trailed at one point in the first half 25-10 with 6:18 to play, but then went on a 36-10 run around halftime to surge into the lead 46-35. Charlotte then tried to play catch-up, cutting the deficit to four on three separate occasions but the Miners were able to hold off the 49ers for the impressive victory.

The Miners shot 43.4 percent from the field, out rebounded Charlotte 39-30 and forced 17 Charlotte turnovers that led to 18 points, and their clutch defensive performance held the 49ers to a mere 39.3 percent shooting.  Tamara Seda recorded her eighth double-double of the season with 16 points, 10 rebounds, while Najala Howell scored 16 points, and Zuzanna Puc added 12.
