This weekend, UTEP is bringing back 23 of the greatest players in football and men's and women's basketball history, and the school announced today that it will offer a special three for one combo ticket to watch all three play Friday and Saturday night. For as little as eight dollars, Miner fans can watch UTEP play Washington State Friday night in their men's basketball opener. The same ticket will also allow them to watch the UTEP women play NMSU at 5:30pm Friday and then the Miners and North Texas Saturday night at the Sun Bowl. UTEP Athletics Director Bob Stull is excited about seeing some of his former players return to El Paso this weekend.

In addition, UTEP is making all tickets for Saturday night's game versus North Texas at the Sun Bowl available for just $10 each. Miners head coach Sean Kugler is also excited about Saturday's festivities prior to kickoff, especially for the fans.

Here is the list of players who will be returning to UTEP this weekend to take part in the school's Athletic Centennial Celebration: football's Trey Darilek, Eugene Epps, Pat Hegarty, Johnnie Lee Higgins Jr., Chris Jacke, Howard Jackson, Cedric Johnson, Don Maynard, Lee Mays, Brian Natkin, Jordan Palmer, Billy Stevens, Tony Tolbert, Bob Wallace and Barron Wortham; men's basketball's David Lattin and Nolan Richardson; and women's basketball's Gloria Estrada, Jareica Hughes, Holly Russ, Be Stoney, Kiana Taylor and Timika Williams. All are members of the UTEP Centennial teams for their respective sports, as voted on by the fans.
