UTEP Men Ranked #23 In Track and Field

For the second straight week the UTEP Men's Track & Field team find themselves ranked in the top 25, this time they're #23 in the nation according to the U.S. Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association. This is a big confidence boost for the program considering that two members of the team have been chosen to represent UTEP in the NCAA Indoor Championships coming up in College Station, Texas from March 9 to the 10.

One of the many bright spots for UTEP is Michael Saruni who not only is a record holder for the 800m and a gold winner but also a leader on the team despite being a sophomore. You can also expect a big performance from Jonah Koech as he looks to build off of a strong regular season and a golden performance at the C-USA Championships.
