UTEP big man John Bohannon had a career high in both points (24) and rebounds (17) — including this rim-rattling dunk — as the Miners beat the Houston Cougars, 63-53.
Miners head coach Tim Floyd had interesting — and funny — things to say about junior center John Bohannon’s best game as a Miner, then had some fun at Associate AD Jeff Darby’s expense after the Miners media relations director miscalculated the number off games UTEP would have to win to earn a bye in the first round of the Conference USA tournament.
