Despite doing terrible in world cup qualifying, Mexico will have another chance to head to Brazil, courtesy of the United States National Team.

Now this is how it went, Panama needed a win against the United States and Mexico needed the U.S to win, in order to play New Zealand for a spot to Brazil for the 2014 World Cup.

Well, lucky for Mexico the U.S. pulled of an incredible comeback when Graham Zusi scored with a header and shortly after Aron Johannsson with literally the last kick of the game.

It seems U.S just couldn't bare the thought of not having their biggest rivals competing in the World Cup with them.

In fact the official U.S. soccer twitter page has hash tagged, #yourewelcomemexico.

Mexico actually has more riding on this than pride, it is estimated that if they do not qualify they can lose up to $600 million dollars in television, merchandise and sponsor ships.

Mexico will now have a two game playoff against New Zealand, and if successful will punch their tickets to Brazil in 2014.
