Recently I was able to attend a Miami Marlins game verses the Cincinnati Reds at Marlins Park in the Little Havana section of Miami. I have been fortunate enough to visit ballparks all over the country but must admit that this gem in south Florida is by far the nicest I've ever seen. It opened last season and cost $651 million dollars. The stadium has a retractable roof and glass panels that also retract in the outfield, a pool, two bulletproof aquariums behind home plate, a Bobblehead museum, and a spectacular view of downtown Miami from the huge glass windows in the outfield. Here are some pictures that I took at the stadium.
