The Arizona Diamondbacks Have A New Mascot And He’s A Luchador [Video]

The Arizona Diamondbacks made news last week when they announced that they have a new official mascot and it is a Luchador! Yes a pro wrestler is now one of the mascots for the Diamondbacks. 

This Saturday July 27th the Diamondbacks will give away luchador masks to the first 20,000 fans. And since I will be on vacation, I'm seriously thinking of making the trip to Arizona to get one of those masks.

By the way, I think that the new El Paso Triple A baseball team should forget about all those weak names they have as finalists for the name of the team.  They should name the team the Luchadors just like the Diamondbacks.  With all the rich pro wrestling history surrounding our area it would make perfect sense...well at least to me.
