Tim Floyd's issues with junior center John Bohannon have come to an ugly head. Bo logged no minutes in Saturday's loss to Tulsa. It marked the second time in three games that Bohannon had a front row seat to a game. He also played sparingly in Wednesday's win over Rice.

The UTEP Miners lost for only the second time on their home floor this season, as Tulsa swept the season series with a 74-70 win.  The Miners struggled both offensively and defensively in the contest, the team shot a dismal 25 percent from the field in the first half.

The Miners began a 3 game home stand with a dominating 62-50 victory over the Tulane Green Wave.  The enthusiastic crowd of 9,014 welcomed UTEP home with open arms, especially since it has been nearly 2 weeks since the team has played a game at the Don Haskins Center.
