Doc Sadler announced today that he was resigning after five seasons as head coach of Southern Miss.

UTEP's roller coaster of a season took a complete downhill spike last weekend after getting blown out by Western Kentucky (40-16), who hadn't won a conference game since last season.

The UTEP women's basketball team continues to roll as they moved to 17-1, 8-0 in C-USA after a 72-64 win over Sothern Miss in front of 4,326 fans at the Don Haskins Center on Thursday night.  The Miners are 11-0 at home, have now won nine games in a row, and ten of their last eleven contests overall in what can be described as an epic season thus far...
