Michael Vick Signs $100 Million Contract with Eagles

Michael Vick, who spent two years in jail and overcame bankruptcy, has signed a six-year deal with the Philadelphia Eagles worth a reported $100 million.

Ever since the Eagles took a chance on Vick in 2009, he’s impressed by earning the starting quarterback spot and leading the team to the NFC East title last season. He set career highs in yards passing, touchdowns passes, and rushing touchdowns.

Phillies Phans are Phanatical About Their Team

Philadelphia gets a bad rap nationally as a sports town.  They are seen as loud, crass, and obnoxious.  Philadelphians are characterized as provincial, and not as worldly as New Yorkers.  Yes, it's easy to point at Eagles fans booing Santa Claus, the court underneath the Vet and now the Link, or most recently the drunk Philles fan who threw up on an 11 year old girl.

The Eagles Should Dump Vick

I'm finally off the Michael Vick bandwagon. I have to admit, it was a fun ride and the Philadelphia Eagles quarterback gave the football world a memorable comeback season. But sometimes, all good things have to come to an end sooner or later. For Philly fans, it was Sunday's Divisional Playoff loss to Green Bay. In fairness to Vick, he was playing with a quad injury the last few weeks of the season. His top wide receiver, DeSean Jackson was also hurting with a knee injury. To make matters worse, the usually reliable David Akers missed two field goals, including a chip shot in the 4th quarter.
