Cathedral Hoping to Keep the Momentum Going Against Canutillo This Friday

The Irish have come off a fantastic shut-out win against the Mountain View Lobos. It capped a great Homecoming week for the Cathedral family. This week gets a little bit difficult taking on the always supersized Canutillo Eagles. The Eagles are coming of a 21-6 win over the Gadsden Panthers. Both teams hold records of 2-1. The Irish look to continue momentum and get that 3rd win.

Cathedral vs Burges Game Recap and Preview of the Fighting Irish vs Mt View Game

After scoring a touchdown just minutes into the first quarter using some trickery against the Mustangs last Friday, the Irish just couldn't hold of Burges' ground attack, losing our first game of the 2011 season 35-7.

The Burges Mustangs go into the second game of the season on a high note after beating the Mountain View Lobos last Friday night 28-19.

The Mustangs host Cathedral Friday night. The Irish also won their season opener against Parkland 22-6.
