The UTEP Miners sustained a costly loss on Senior night at the Don Haskins Center on Wednesday night.  It was a disappointing end to the Miners home schedule, as Rice swept the season series by winning 68-61.  The Miners had a solid performance by senior Gabe McCulley, who shined in his last home game as a Miner, scoring 17.  John Bohannon added 13 points in the losing effort.

If the Miners were going to lose to a C-USA opponent, it was going to be a solid team that put together a solid effort. Basically, a perfect storm

Today, that storm blew into the Don Haskins Center then blew out taking away the Miners perfect C-USA season and dropped the Miners to 25-3 overall and 14-1 in C-USA
