The Los Angeles Dodgers have hired Sue Falsone as their new head physical therapist and athletic trainer, making Falsone the first woman to serve as the head athletic trainer for a team in any of the four major professional sports leagues.
“This is a very special day not just for Sue, but for the Dodgers and Major League Baseball,” Dodgers general manager Ned Colletti said. “The Dodgers have always been an organization of firsts and this promotion for Sue continues in that tradition.”

Frank McCourt Agrees to Sell Los Angeles Dodgers
After a turbulent seven years as Los Angeles Dodgers owner, Frank McCourt has agreed to sell the team, in consultation with Major League Baseball.
They intend to auction the team, Dodger Stadium, and the surrounding parking lots in the coming months. McCourt paid $421 million in 2004, but the package is valued much higher.
