It is hard to believe that it has been 25 years since the passing of Hernell “Jeep” Jackson. On May 2nd, 1987, the UTEP point guard was playing in a benefit basketball game at Fort Bliss.

Was the 2011 C-USA Tournament a Financial Success?

For many El Pasoans the tournament was an abject failure because UTEP fell to the Memphis in the final. We are over a month removed from the event and the financial reconciliation for the tournament has been completed.
