South Carolina’s star sophomore running back Marcus Lattimore will miss the rest of the season after suffering a torn knee ligament and cartilage damage during the Gamecocks’ 14-12 win over Mississippi State on Saturday. Lattimore came into the game leading the SEC in rushing, but left after carrying the ball 17 times for just 39 yards.

Years of dancing on and around baseball dugouts has finally caught up with the Phillie Phanatic. The most recognizable mascot in sports was performing Wednesday night at Lehigh Valley, home of the Philadelphia Phillies’ triple-A affiliate, when a foul ball bounced off of the dugout and struck the Phanatic in the neck.
